One-Two Digital: Nailed in a Day
One-Two Digital is a specialist paid ads agency for solid eCommerce brands (ooooh nice tagline there, I wonder who wrote that đź‘€). This team has heaps of personality, and a track record of delivering multi-award winning work for their clients. After realising that their brand was bringing in an outdated target customer profile, we did a Nailed in a Day together to sort their messaging, personality, and web copy.
The struggles: what challenges were they facing?
They knew what their values were as a business, but hadn’t created brand messaging to inform their marketing content and keep things consistent
They had a glowing (and award-winning) track record of adding huge value to clients, and they wanted to talk about it in a way that didn’t make them sound like EVERY OTHER AGENCY OUT THERE
They had grown a lot, but had started to become known for the wrong things.
Their outdated messaging made it difficult to write their content.
They are a fun team, but their website didn’t reflect that

The process:
Step 1: Brand Deep Dive
This was a 2 hour call where we got into the weeds of what One-Two does, and how they do it. We pushed deeper into exploring the impact of their work and what really makes them different from other agencies.
We established pretty quickly that they wanted to bring a football theme to their brand personality. After all, it was a love for football that inspired the name for the business. But they wanted to bring this to life without it feeling like a “football themed” brand, and in a way that didn’t undermine how good they are at what they do.
Step 2: Sprint Day
We kicked off the day by revealing One-Two’s new messaging and definition of fun. Then I cracked on with updating 6 of their web copy pages
So Laura and Lucy finished the day with:
Magnetic messaging that captures what their new ideal client really wants
A clear definition of fun that represents One-Two’s authentic personality
Kicked up a notch web copy
Step 3: 2 weeks of copy support
After we wrapped up the Sprint Day, One-Two then had the chance to send me over up to 1,000 words of copy they wanted me to kick up a notch, and bring in line with their new web copy and messaging.

Core creds deck copy
As I was editing their copy, I made a note of what I was doing, and broke this down into clear copy steps and tips for them to follow the next time they wrote copy for their brand.

What devices they can use to bring her unique definition of fun to life
