Industry: Mental health

Liverpool Psychotherapy & Counselling Centre (LPCC) are a team of hand-picked team of self-employed therapists. They didn’t need bold humour and fun across their web copy, but what they did need was a way to convey warmth, trust, and personality in a way that doesn’t undermine the seriousness of the work they do.

Who could possibly take on such a task??

ME!!

Personalised copy top tips guide:

Advice on how they can maintain the same style of copy and brand tone of voice across other customer touchpoints, such as their flyers, business cards, and Google Ads.

The process:

Step 1: Kick off and brand deep-dive call

A 90 minute call to get into the details of their brand, their customer, and their authentic personality.

Step 2: Brief confirmation

I sent over a full-project brief detailing the key points of what we talked about. Only after this was approved and confirmed by the LPCC did I crack on with editing the copy.

Step 3: Edited copy & copy top tips: DELIVERED

I sent over their edited copy 2 weeks after they approved the final brief, as well as their copy top tips guide. This guide looked at different areas of their brand voice, and how their team can consistently create a warm, trustworthy feel to their copy going forward.

Oooooh look, some web copy!

So what? What difference did it make to LPCC?

They walked away with:

  • Updated and SEO-friendly web copy designed to speak to their target customer

  • A brand voice that felt warm, welcoming, and trustworthy

  • Clarity on how to create this voice in other key bits of copy

But was it any good?

I don’t know…you’ll have to ask LPCC!

“Gina has done a great job of rewriting the copy for our website. She has found a great balance between being personable, accessible and professional.

She has also been very proactive in her communication, and throughout the process she has been clear, professional and the (self appointed) Queen of Fun!

On top of this, Gina has provided a top tip guide to help us as we produce some literature which was a nice added bonus, thank you.”

Not sure if you need “FUN”, but still want a touch of personality?

LPCC didn’t need guffaw-worthy web copy. But they did need that warm, welcoming and personable feel to how they show up online.

If you’re sitting there thinking “I can’t make what I do sound fun”, that’s fine. We don’t have to.

But if you want to make things feel more human, I can help with that.
